On the crest of a hill overlooking beautiful Lewis & Clark Lake, three giant crosses stand as a reminder of the life and death of Jesus Christ. The House of Mary Shrine is a peaceful place to visit, where many people stop to pray and meditate, leave a petition and renew their faith.
Below the crosses, tucked in among the trees, are a bell tower, statues, shrinettes, the Way of the Cross, the Living Waters, the Rosary Way and St. Joseph’s Chapel. The Marian Visitor’s Center, with its gift shop and museum, is open weekends in the summer. The House of Mary Shrine is located 7 miles west on Hwy 52.
